Engage with People SPDC.

Ohmmmm!!!!!! Ohmmm!!!!
The monks walked chanting

Amen!!!!!
People get down with heads bowed

Hear us , hear us our pain, Oh! King!
No food to eat and no cash to pay

High gas price and inflation
Make our monks go starvation

Bringh brattt botttt bott
Automatic rifles were shot

Bump stump dump
Monks were stomped

army boots and rifle butts

trouble makers they said

western slaves they said

take of your robes and go to jail

splashed red bloods, heads crushed

wail ! bewail! people ran astray

the end of the culture

we Burmese say

Talked to Yangon on phone,

" Ma Ma, " they said, " people are really sad, "

" we are really broke to take a bus to office with the gas price,"

" in pakoku they beat the monks,"

" we thought they would come out and apologize,"

" instead they shot automatic guns run over and at us,"

" they raided Ngwe Kyar Yan and the abbot dropped dead of heart attack,"

" no Than Shwe or Mg Aye any higher generals say nothing,"

" one junior declared martial law."

" we are shocked and feel so sad."

instead of the world requesting, you have to do your deadly beating

Now you lost your political points and turn people far from you.

Zarganar and Kyaw Thu represent people, monks represent people

Engage them , talk to them.

Form a new government with people

To keep our country and our Tatmadaw in one piece

To have our culture and our religion prosper

Gambari what will he do?

Myanmar quiet as envoy arrives
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070929/ap_on_re_as/myanmar

Who will Gambari meets, what will he say?

Will Than Shwe , Mg Aye meet him or any other ministers?

What help will he give us? What is in his mind?

According to the news, he has intention to send food aid
for people who are almost starving
chiefly to the shan people from north east

People around Yangon also need food
middle Burma as well

Give us enough food and Burmese are happy
we are not that lazy
show us technology
we learn fast and we work hard

What about education? Micro credits?
Technical schools? Roads and electricity?
medicines and hospitals and doctors?

C'mon UN and the West,
everyday people are not worried about who is the government

You all know what we really need.

Do it right!

They killed a journalist

They killed Nagai to stop posting their cruelty to the world.
They think it is all because of foreigners and Burmese dissident groups outside.

They do not know their own fault.

Their own disability

Their own defect

Their own ignorance

"Maw-ha" is ignorance

"Law-ba" is greed

"Daw-tha" is anger

"Mar-na" is pride

May all of us be free from maw-ha, law-ba, daw-tha and mar-na!

Sept 30th 2007
Nyan Win said he was "extremely sorry" for Nagai's death,
You accept the apology-- You acknowledge the lie of the brutal regime.

Tipping Point

Myanmar Approaches Its Tipping Point
http://www.forbes.com/leadership/managing/2007/09/27/burma-ne-win-cx_0928oxfordanalytica.html

I hope this it true. "Tiger who is about to die usually moves his place" as the saying goes.
As soon as Than Shwe moved his new kingdom to a remote place, everyone knows how he was so out of touch and doomed to fall.

Such a pre carious situation he is in; the country in need of attention in economic and international standing-- he is only thinking about building palaces for himself and his family.

How can people trust this kind of leadership? Our whole nation is in the hand of a lunatic.

Myanmar or Burma

From abc news: http://abcnews.go.com/International/story?id=3662654&page=1

What's in a Country's Name?
Myanmar to Some, Burma to Others, Violence and Repression for All

"I think maybe we choose not to use language of a totalitarian, dictatorial regime that oppresses its people," White House deputy press secretary Tony Fratto said.
Tuesday, President Bush announced new sanctions on the regime in a speech to the U.N. General Assembly, declaring that "Americans are outraged by the situation in Burma."

Personally I like Rangoon, Burma the names I grew up saying and knowing. It has more historical and romantic sense.

" Ba " sounds stronger and forceful than "Mya" .

it is the same with Peking and Bombay for me though they change the name.

For tourism purpose I will keep Rangoon , Mandalay names not changed for our favorite cities.

In Malaysia they have U Thant road. We do not have one in our own country.

In Singapore they have Rangoon road ( or Burma road ?) , British regarded Rangoon as their favorite city they built in SE Asia. It was a pearl of SE Asia for them. Ofcourse I know they have many clubs there for themselves in their days.

Maymyo is built by Col May and still have their characters. Such a historical tourism place it will make if we still keep the name and British structures.

What is the point of destruction and ablolishing history. Capitalize on it for cash and economy.

We Lost Our culture Today

Today

Our culture is crushed by our own sons

Who have become fortune soldiers

They do not protect our people

They protect the wealth of their generals

Our religion is doomed

Christians and Muslims clerics are more revered

By their followers

We do not attack a monk

even if an enemy is robed as a monk

saffron color is revered

Now it is bloodied and trumpled

Not by foreigners

Not by non Buddhists

But by our own sons

Our own Buddhists

Cash and power make them forget about their culture.

Burma is doomed in the world today

Our identity is lost

Our future is lost

Our religion is lost

Our race will be lost

Such a sad sad sad Day

I cried so hard

For my country and my people

My heart is totally broken

We Lost Our Culture Today

Today We Lost Our Culture

Our culture is crushed by our own sons

Who have become fortune soldiers

They do not protect our people

They protect the wealth of their generals

Our religion is doomed

Chritians and Muslims clerics are more revered

By their followers

We do not attack a monk

even if an enemy robed as a monk

saffron color is very much revered

Now it is bloodied and trumpled

Not by foreigners

Not by non Buddhists

But by our own sons

Our own Buddhists

Cash and power

make them forget about their culture.

Burma is doomed in the world today

Our identity is lost

Our future is lost

Our religion is lost

Our race will be lost

Such a sad sad sad Day

I cry for my country and my people

My heart is totally broken

Why is the world watching us ?

What is the world doing to us?

Watching without doing nothing

People killed by their own army in Burma

The chief monk of a monastery died

Soldiers beat and kick the monks

A japanese journalist was shot dead

Poeple are crying

wailing for help inside

Burmese outside feel so helpless

May May, my daughter said, can't you help

They are going to be killed

parading like that

The old memories of '88 haunted her young head

I called Yangon and talk to some

All are crying and asking help

All are hoping the world will help

More sanctions Bush conveniently said

Condi asked UN to help

UN ?? will it help??

How it help??

I have doubts and I am sad

sad sad sad

by May Burma

Let us go Free!

Myanmar's state-run newspaper blamed "saboteurs inside and outside the nation" for causing the protests in Yangon, and said the demonstrations were much smaller than the media were reporting.

Who sabotage you ? Inside or outside?

Actually, You do it yourself

By not giving freedom to us

Let us go free

Let us live without fear

Let us find our own way

To practice freedom

To use our own wisdom

We are people above you

We do not need uniform

We do not need an institute

We are free Burmese

Free in heart

Free in thoughts

With over hundred years of ruling

Even colonist could not tame our spirits

We have our own philosophy

We have our own culture

We do not attach ourselves

To uniforms or parties

We know life is short

We know attachments are worse

We do not demonstrate

We loathe your presence

You are making us hate green

Instead of obeying orders

Use your common sense

Where is your brain?

Take it back and put it back on

Hiding under your uniform

You are still our son

We raise you to be fair

We raise you to have care

Do not forget your roots

People are not hoots

Yes there are instigators

You are mostly at fault

It is the main cause

Do something before its late

This will not end

There will always be more

Unless you face your woes

Wake up from your dream

Your high & mighty dream

Your megalomaniac dream

You are not our savior

Neither is She

People must come first

Respect you give to all of us.

Let people go free!

Kay Sah Ma She Bu

My favorite song about my country!

"Kay Sah Ma She Bu"

"It Doesn't Matter"

by Ujongyi released on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmLuT3aJw9E

Walking along the streets of old Yangon
Some of it is now
Some of it is long gone

I can see you
But I can't be you

Kay sha ma she bu, No, it just doesn't matter now

In our world Burma is a world away

I see them smiling

Getting on their way

They have so little

yet they are glad

I got too much

And I am still sad

ksmsb

No it just doesn't matter now

Everyday in Yangon

There is another way to make it

Everyday in Yangon

There is another way how to fake it

In a short while I have known

Whats here might stay or might go

ksmsb No it just doesn't matter now

I know so little

so much I need to learn

The monks they say, the big wheel continues to turn

we have it now just for today

Do it right or next life it goes away

ksmsb No it just doesn't matter now

I have made some friends but now I got to go away

I do not know I will be back to Burma again

Ko Win, my friend I hear his plea

in broken english "don't forget me"

ksmsb No it just does matter now

I know , I will never going to see the end

I know things in Burma will move may be once again

I am in love and I want to stay

But I can't find the way

ksmsb

They know they just don't matter

I want to stay Kay Sah Ma She Bu

I am in love with them

But they just don't matter now

Kay Sah Ma She Bar Bu

Walking along the streets of old Yangon

Some of it's now

Some of it is long gone

I can see you

But I can't be you

Kay sah ma she bu, No, it just doesn't matter now

In our world Burma's a world away>>

I see them smiling>>Getting on their way>>

They have so little>>yet they're glad>>

I've got too much>>And I am still sad>>

Free Burma Campaigns???

What ?

Free Burma campaigns?

What are you doing for almost two decades?

Free us or jail us within our country

Stopping trade and engagements from the West

So what ? You still live and work in the west

When our people starve and get AIDS

Thank you free Burma and free ASSK and all

For Failing us for all these years

When people inside thought as Gods of you

That will put us on good path

Are you still asking us for donations??

Asking us for petitions??

Who do we petition to?

UN? US? And the West ?

That you all are worshipping

What is practical for us

We need food and jobs

We need investments

We need micro credits and education

Books and libraries

Schools and factories

Do you know what we really need

We need to eat and we need good advice

What free Burma?

When we do not have Employments

Bush , Blair , Brown , Blacks and Whites

Who care about our lives?

You all have butter and cakes

We do not have rice to survive

Freedom comes later

Full stomach comes first

Generals got richer

Who cares about your sanctions

Is it effective?

NO THANK YOU

NO Donations for you!

Kill us all if you can

Kill us, kill us all today

We will die crying for freedom

Better than living in death

Better than living with fear

Better than worshiping a monkey king

Better than slaves for green monsters

How many of us can you kill

How many of us can you jail

How many of you in your command

We have the whole nation behind us

The whole world behind our despair

Are you all too blind to see like others

The truth you were taught by the monks and parents

Where will it lead you

Your lust for power and wealth

Can you take your wealth to your next life?

Can you be immortal

Can you be forever powerful

Karma will teach you in no time

You will get what you sow

Do something for others before you grow old

Before someone else will be above you

Before you suffer the same fate like others

You can order to kill us

Or You can show mercy on us

We deserve the respect

We all together are mightier than you all

We represent your country

We represent the truth

We demand respect

We offer love and care

Give us back the same

We still send to you our love

That you may be free from ignorance

And vanity

Sitting on your high chair

Sorry! But we remain defiant

Against the regime that’s not fair

Nor transparent

Nor equal.

Kill us if you may

We do not care

Death is better than hell on earth

To have you gun mongers above us!

Today is the Day

Today is the Day!

Today is the day
We will have our way
Freedom from fear
Freedom for speech
Freedom from poverty
Freedom from jail

We are cultured
We are talented
Too bad we are easy to be pleased

Enough of the greens
Sitting and shitting upon us
Go back to barracks
Go back to where you belong
Listen to us
Listen to our commands
That is what you are
A shell without a brain
A kid trained to hold a gun
A kid trained to follow orders
Listen well and listen hard
We do not serve you
But you serve us
Who are you
What do you know
Apart from following orders
What you have done
To be above us
To make us poor
To make us look stupid

Down with your guns
Down with your foolish pride
Go back to barracks
Listen to our command

We are your parents
We are your guidance
Listen to your own parents

Be a good son
Be a good soldier
Go back to barracks
Wait for our orders

9/25/07

Salute to Sanghas

Salute to the Sanghas!

Salute to the Sanghas
who brace the fire

Salute to the Sanghas
who know our fears

Salute to the Sanghas
who calm our souls

Salute to the Sanghas
who live our goals

Saffron robes will fly
forever in our mother land

The land where peace and love stand

We depend none upon others

We have our own leaders

Neglect, we have from foreigners

Care, we have from our own Sanghas

This is our culture

This is our Sanghas

This is our Pillar

This is our Identity

Long live Our Sanghas

Long live Our culture and

Our religion
