Differences in culture
There are differences in culture of Asians.
Taoism is ancestor worship. They said that they are born with a dollar sign on their head. They will do any business for profit. In Burma there are Chinese pawn shops, brothels, noodle shops, gold shops, liquor shops, chicken shops, poultry shops. They raise and kill pigs.
Indians have gold shops, corner stores selling drugs and medicine, mutton and beef shops. They raise and kill goats and cows. They worship Hindi gods or they go to muslim mosques. Hindis are superstitious and traditional, muslims are controlled by their churches.
Burmese can be customers of them and they do not look down upon these Chinese and Indians for doing these since it is their customs but do not take part in it.
For Buddhists you are supposed to do a living that does not harm others.
- no selling of liquors or arms.
- no killing of animals
- no prostitution or trading people.
Only low class un cultural unethical un Buddhist Burmese will be doing these businesses and we all look down upon these Burmese who are selling liquor, catching and selling fish or prostitution.
Burmese look down upon them. Usually these people have crude manners not acceptable as cultured Buddhists.
Burmese are afraid of " vipekha " what you do will come around to you this life or next life.
Burmese are usually farmers or merchant traders, teachers and professionals. These are preferred to the inferior trades.
They send their sons to monastery for primary Buddhist education to become a good Buddhist.
They are not supposed to attach to anything that will promote greed, lust,anger,hatred.
There are traditional Burmese who worship spirits Gods as well. Yearly Nat festivals are quite popular in middle Burma and lower Burma. In Shan states there are gangs of men who has tattoos and practice voodoo medicine.
There are bogus monks every where who take advantage of weak people and do voodoo things for a living.
There people are worshipped by many traditional ignorant, unducated Buddhists who need some guidance in daily lives.
Government or Kings are different from citizens, they can become proud and un Buddhist.
That will be the time their fame and fortune will fail.
We all believe in Vipeka. We do not take part in doing anything bad to anyone.
For Burmese, every individual is walking their own path to Nirvana. ( freedom from suffering )
We are all individuals.
For a true Buddhist, things will fall into place naturally, no need to create chaos, no need for activists.
Spread the knowledge, share and discuss Dhamma "the truth. " Education is the key for higher learning.
The way is to spread love and kindness and help sasana grows.
Promote good businesses and ethical living.
The Middle way of Buddha is always the winning way.
Burmese do not like HOT! we are COOL! people, peaceful, loving, caring people.
We do not want to feel hate, lust, anger.
We do not want to take part in these acts.
Let us live in peace

This pagoda built on a rock is famous for a hiking trip for pilgrims to reach the top of a mountain.
It is in Karen state a day trip from Yangon.

It is always a challenge to visit this pagoda which you have to reach after a long full day hike if you start from the base.
It is better to start in the evening and spend the night in the middle and started early the next day.
Today the military has made a road up to the top and you can drive your car to the top if you have a VIP pass.
Or you have to hike the top part of the hill to reach. It is steep near to the top so it is not an easy hike either.

They all look like kids moving under command of ignorant and scary monster
Where are the real people , real leaders ?
People who move boldly in strides with truth and sincerity??
They wish to invite foreign Investment
why can't they make the situation right and friendly for it???
They warn people not to listen to foreign media full of lies
Who are lying themselves??
Living in their little Kingdom
Not developing their people
They themselves do not know the world affairs
Prejudice against anyone who knows better

Becareful where the AID cash goes!
I hope the euro aid going to the border do not end up in ethnic insurgents' hands.

FM: Int'l community should play constructive role on Myanmar issue
China on Thursday said that the final settlement of the Myanmar issue would reply on the efforts of the government and the people of Myanmar, stressing the international community should play a constructive role with respect to the sovereignty and opinions of the Myanmar government.
Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Qin Gang made the remarks ata regular press conference on Thursday afternoon, noting that how to realize true dialogue and reconciliation should be negotiated and determined by the Myanmar government and other relevant parties in Myanmar since Myanmar itself is a sovereign country.
Qin said China concerns very much about the peace, stability and development of Myanmar and would like to see a stable, democratic, reconciled and developing Myanmar.
China supports special adviser of the UN Secretary General Ibrahim Gambari's mediation work, supports a bigger role to be played by the ASEAN (the Association of Southeast Asian Nations), and is willing to strengthen communication with relevant parties including the European Union to play joint and active role in properly resolving the Myanmar issue, said Qin.

Preserve the culture
Theraveda Buddhism is only practiced in Burma Sri Lanka and Thailand.
It is unlike Tibetan, Hindu, Shinto or Taoism or traditional spirit worships.
It helps people to feel enlightened with truth.
That peace does not come with guns and power, cash and wealth.
It is what the world needs.
It is now endangered in Burma.
Burma is invaded by non Buddhists today. From every way!

Help for People of Myanmar
UN said they help through NGOs and faith based Organizations. Europe send aids to vulerable people at the border areas.
Why can't they help the people across the country as well???
The ministries of Health and Education have establishments and people.
They are not corrupted like trade ministry or industry or military.
There are fourteen states and divisions in the country and the donors can reach every place through the ministries. Thus people from all part of the country will benefit from help.
The hospitals need help, the techinical colleges need help, they all can benefit from libraries and books.
Help in border regions will be pulling people inside the country out. I thank all of them anyhow for the help.
If there are jobs at home these people will not be going to the border area.
I hope China can invest in the country to provide jobs for the people.
Western NGOs have to be innovative in helping the house wives earn some regular income.
Missionaries work will be making majority Buddhists feel neglected.
The union spirit shall be maintained and no seperatists ideas should be bred at the border regions.

System in place
If there is a system that is working
to pull the country from one string,
that should stay in place.
We have taken a lot of time and sacrifice
to build up the unity of the country
with strong military.
Looking back the history ,
Malaysia , Singapore and Honk Kong were able to build their nations
with the stability of British peace corp left in their nations after independence.
Meanwhile we had struggled hard to fight the insurgency in every corner.
The legal system and governing system are still there but after NeWin's rule they have weakened especially legal and education.
The soldiers are put on top of every ministry and undermine the professional quality of civilian rule.
The prejudice of the army people for British educated civilians destroyed the country.
If they can get rid of this attitude and have sincere desire to promote democracy in Burma, they should remove all their ex soldiers and soldiers from all ministries ASAP.

Where ever they are in the world,
More fear in the advanced Western nations.
Police , DWI, car accident, thieves, murderers, dark allies, unfriendly neighbors , paedophiles, IRS, Christians who want to save you, weather, snow storm , bills, etc etc..

creating ugliness, split and insurgence
instigating riots
blocking peace, prosperity
Because of you all
craving for victory
power, lust ,
more and more wealth
Innocent people are suffering
a whole nation at stake!
Stop! all of you
Act with wisdom

writing poems, saying revenge, hatred, hanging pictures
Scary ! So un Buddhists!
Will never work for us.
No wisdom, no fact finding.
